We will be taking part as usual in the Saffron Walden carnival procession and we would like to invite all our students from all our classes to come and join us.
The event will take place on Saturday 9th July 2022, We will be meeting on the common at 12:30pm and leaving at 2pm.
The theme for this year’s procession is Planet Earth, which is perfectly fitting for our Bees! We cannot live without bees, lets face it! Bees and butterfly’s help pollinate approximately 75% of the worlds flowering plants. They pollinate roughly 35% of the worlds food crops – including fruit and vegetables.
We would like all our students to come dressed in their STING UNIFORMS. We have BEE ANTENNAE HEAD BANDS for sale at £2.00 each and would like everyone to wear this. You can add other accessories like bee wings, leg warmers etc if you have them.
We do have a special surprise for all of you… and I am sure every single one of you will want a picture walking alongside our famous vehicle and lucky mascot. We will also be walking the parade to all our pre recorded STING tracks.
We will meet you all on the common at 12:30pm for a registration.
The route begins at 2pm on The Common and travels through: East Street, Thaxted Road, Peaslands Road, Mount Pleasant Road, Borough Lane, London Road, High Street, George Street, Hill Street and back to The Common.
