About Sting Performing Arts
STING performing arts is a theatre company delivering the arts to those who like to perform and have fun whilst gaining confidence with a high standard of training from all industry professionals.
STING is located nationwide delivering courses in Acting, Musical Theatre, Dance, Singing, (Film and Television) and LAMDA (London Academy of Dramatic Art).
We have specialized courses for all age groups and abilities with weekday and weekend classes ranging from our most popular Youth Theatre to our Advanced Training classes and Buzzy Bee classes for our youngest of students. We also deliver extra-curricular specialized classes in Drama (Acting) Dance and Choir in schools as an after-school activity or as part of “arts in educational” package within schools and colleges to provide support in the arts where creative subjects have been cut from the national curriculum in education.
STING has its own LAMDA (London Academy of Music & Dramatic Arts) and TRINITY center where students can take a range of performance examinations and gain recognizable qualifications gaining credible UCAS points for the future. Students do not need to travel to various locations and examinations are set annually within our premises. STING prides its self with a 100% pass rate up to the highest grade obtainable from the syllabuses.
We love to perform here at STING, and providing our students with as much exposure to Stage, Film and Theatre as possible, it is part of our mission and we feel it is important to perform in professional venues locally and nationally which adds to our students experience and professionalism with building confidence and skills which need to support you through a performers career!
As a STING performer you are eligible to join our casting agency for professional work which we have seen many of our students and industry working staff gain work within the West End including musicals such as The King and I, Matilda, Adrian Mole and TV work and feature films such as “My Ferel Heart” and “The Manifest”. Many students have also been seen in commeicals for Ikea and Asda.
