We can confirm classes will be returning in September. We have been doing everything possible to make sure we can return safely with the new regulations set in place for those within the performing arts / theatre industry. With the new government guidelines we have taken every precaution possible and secured our venues for us to participate safe practice. All staff have taken courses online for prevention control, risks and safety measures in the workplace. Classes for our Buzzy Bees will resume at South Mill Arts formally known as (Rhodes Art Complex) in Bishops Stortford for ages two-four on September 18th 2020. The Thaxted Buzzy Bees classes will resume back to normal from 16th September 2020 for the age groups four -six. Our Saturday Youth Theatre groups in Harlow and Saffron Walden will begin 12th September. Our Sting For All courses for adults and young people with learning disabilites will start 18th September at Harlow playhouse.
Placements will need to secured as we will be splitting the groups as advised into “bubbles” until further advice is given. Unfortunately some classes in our after-school provision cannot continue until after October half term as the schools will not be renting out the halls for after-school providers. We will be doing all we can to make sure we are ready and waiting when the measures are lifted and we are able to enter back into the schools. If you have questions please do not hesitate to contact us, we are here to answer all your questions regarding the re-opening of Sting Performing Arts.
We look forward to welcoming you back for an new exciting term which we promise will not be lacking in fun regardless of the new regulations!
